Film Synopsis
The Breakfast Club is a 1980's drama film written and directed by John Hughes set in a typical american high school in chicago. The film explores many teen issues such as drugs, alcohol, peer pressure, depression and bullying. The film is set around a bunch of teenagers who receive a saturday detention from there various actions and have to deal with many problems throughout the day and come to realise that they are all deeper than there respected stereotypes. The director has used a number of different personalities in the fim which causes conflict between them as they are all extremely different. The film is much like many of its era and explores many great ideas and themes that are presented in many ways.
